I really like the security improvements made by Windows Vista from 2000 to now, when compared to the other OS(es). With Unix, there is not much to say (Open BSD, it's Unix, can't really go wrong.Never tried Red Hat Linux, but thought that was interesting though.
I also like the notion of choosing the right language and coding correctly from the get go, thanks EF for the link on Alex.
